World Lore
Meseph in Dia
Meseph culture remains strongly shaped by Simur. Most of their great settlements are underwater, but their people are common in every realm, making them one of Dia's most visible aquatic cultures.
Underwater, Meseph bodies take on silver-blue scales, orange sclera, gills, flattened ears, and a narrower nose. On land, those features soften into a more human shape, while their skin shifts color with emotion and weather.
Meseph are often composed, trustworthy, and emotionally perceptive. Since their skin can betray strong feeling, deception is culturally difficult. Their art is refined, especially in theatre and music.
