Humans do not have the long memory of Dia's ancient peoples. Instead, they move quickly. A human lifetime can hold a city raised, a road opened, a throne seized, or a family name made famous.

Whatever their motive, humans tend to become Dia's experimenters. They spread through commerce and settlement, test old borders, and make themselves difficult to ignore in every age.
