A night-beetle whose shell gleams like scattered embers in the underbrush. The light makes it easy to notice and strangely hard to ignore when it closes in.

BeastsBeasts are usually the animals one might also meet in the real world, though some belong only to Dia's own fauna. Most are simple-minded compared with people and are often kept as domestic animals, mounts, or hunting companions.
